Sheila Carrigan is a trained and experienced mediator who can help your family resolve conflicts outside a courtroom.  Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution in which an impartial or neutral third party (the mediator) assists people to negotiate their own settlement out of court.  A mediator does not primarily look out for the individual interests of either party, but rather helps the two sides understand the legal and non-legal issues at stake, and facilitates a fair and workable resolution, constructed by the parties themselves, that a judge will approve.

An experienced litigator and former judge, Sheila Carrigan knows what judges will and won’t allow, and will help ensure that all mediated agreements are in the best interests of families and children.
